With Christmas Day fast approaching I wonder if I will be touching snow before 2015 starts.
I love snowing days, specially when they coincide with weekends. No stress with transports, no stress with schools or other activities. You can enjoy a truly special family day which can stay in our memories for a long time.
On those days usually I realize that my children’ feet are growing at a ginormous pace as they are no snow boot that can fit them when we need!
I also realize that we are not prepared for snowing days…no red snow sleights, no carrots to make a snowman’s nose. We are for sure not professionals! But we love it anyway…perhaps because my husband and I haven’t grown up seeing snowing days. Perhaps because we think snowing days make part of that imaginary of Christmas happiness so linked to the romantic hollywood movies.
Perhaps because white can mean purity, safety, peaceful feelings.
Anyway…I decided to go back to my photo “wardrobe” and share here some of those shots taken on a special snowing day. Cold, happy faces, plays, snowmen, music, freezing lakes…everything plays a special ingredient on these specific days.
I definitely miss WHITE!
